Unlike traditional hospital photography, Bella Baby takes artistic images and offers a free password-protected slideshow that the family can view online. This allows the new family to securely share their bundle of joy with friends and family all over the world. The slideshow is available for two weeks so families have time to enjoy the pictures and decide if they would like to place an order.
Bella Baby Photography is committed to high-quality, artistic portraits and specializes in capturing the beauty of a newborn in the first days of life. Each mom delivering at Parkridge East Hospital can request an in-room visit from one of Bella Baby’s fully screened professional photographers. Family members and friends are welcome to remain in the room and can even be included in photos.
Bella Baby will have a photographer at Parkridge East every day to capture every newborn. The process is simple, according to Bella Baby Partner Jessica Bettencourt: “A Bella photographer will photograph each baby the day after delivery. Minutes after the photo session ends, the photographer posts color and black-and-white images to a password-protected section of Bella Baby's website. We do not use props or back drops so we simply show up with our camera bag and do a mini photo shoot in the privacy of the family’s room,” owner Jessica Bettencourt said.
The company believes that babies look the most beautiful and natural when being held in their parents’ arms or cuddled in one of their own baby blankets. Bella Baby captures the natural beauty of newborns using only “real things” ” natural window light, experienced professional photographers and professional grade SLR digital cameras. “We use natural light and close editing to hide hospital surroundings,” notes Bella Baby Partner Jessica Bettencourt, “although the rooms at Parkridge East are so nice, you don't feel like you are in the hospital."
