Parkridge Health System is pleased to announce it is expanding its minimally invasive surgery program with the addition of an advanced surgical robot at Parkridge Medical Center.

The first of its kind in Tennessee, the state-of-the-art robotic system represents a significant leap forward in minimally invasive surgery and underscores Parkridge Health System’s commitment to providing patients with the highest standard of care for Chattanooga.

“This new technology allows surgeons to perform complex procedures with unparalleled precision. The results are reduced risks of complications, shorter recovery times and improved outcomes overall,” said Chris Cosby, president and chief executive officer of Parkridge Health System. “We are investing in this one-of-a-kind technology at Parkridge Medical Center for the health of the Chattanooga region.”

The surgical robot is suitable for many procedures across multiple specialties. This includes urological, gynecological and general surgeries.
