Chattanooga, TN – Parkridge Medical Center is proud to be named as one of America’s 250 Best Hospitals by Healthgrades for the fourth consecutive year. This recognition places Parkridge Medical Center in the top 5% of hospitals nationwide for overall clinical performance. Based exclusively on patient outcomes, the annual designation is reserved for hospitals who demonstrate superior performance in providing care for conditions and procedures across multiple specialty lines and areas.

“We’re extremely proud to be recognized among the top healthcare providers in the nation by Healthgrades,” said Chris Cosby, chief executive officer and president of Parkridge Health System. “This recognition underscores our dedication to providing high-quality, compassionate care and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.”

To be considered for the list, hospitals must first have evaluations in at least 21 of the 31 Healthgrades procedures and conditions using independent, publicly available Medicare inpatient data from the Medicare Provider Analysis and Review (MedPAR) file from Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). To determine the top hospitals for 2025, Healthgrades then evaluated risk-adjusted mortality and complication rates for common conditions and procedures at approximately 4,500 hospitals nationwide.
