Centennial Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at Parkridge is proud to welcome Bao-Thuy Hoang, MD, a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon with 15 years of experience specializing in complex surgery of the heart, lungs, and other parts of the chest.

“Dr. Hoang brings more than a decade of experience in complex cardiac cases that makes our program one of the most robust in the region,” said Alison Bailey, MD, FACC, Chief of Cardiology at Centennial Heart at Parkridge. “His skillset and clinical expertise will be an asset to our practice and the patients we serve.”

Dr. Hoang previously served as a cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon and director of thoracic surgery at Cardiac Surgical Associates in Florida. He also served as assistant professor of surgery, cardiovascular and thoracic surgery at the University of Central Florida, College of Medicine. Prior to that, he served as a cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon at Ocala Health Heart and Lung Surgery in Florida.

Dr. Hoang earned his medical degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville. He served as chief resident of general surgery at the University of Florida in Jacksonville. He also served as chief resident at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and as a resident at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.

Dr. Hoang will see patients in the Centennial Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at Parkridge offices located in the Center for Heart, Lung and Vascular Health at 2339 McCallie Avenue, Chattanooga, Tennessee, 37404.
