Parkridge Health System is pleased to announce that Parkridge Medical Center and Parkridge East Hospital received “A” grades in the Fall 2023 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade. The national distinction recognizes the hospitals’ achievements in protecting patients from errors, injuries, accidents and infections.

“This achievement highlights our commitment to patient safety as a foundational part of our culture at Parkridge Health,” said Chris Cosby, president and chief executive officer of Parkridge Health System. “I am proud of our colleagues across the Parkridge Health network who show up each day to provide high-quality care to our patients.”

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is the only hospital ratings program exclusively based on hospital prevention of medical errors, infections and injuries. The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is peer-reviewed, fully transparent and free to the public. Grades are updated twice annually in the fall and spring.
