CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.– Physician Assistant Valorie Mixon has joined internist Dr. Robert Peterson on the staff of Parkridge Medical Group – Diagnostic Center.
Mixon, a Nashville native, earned her associate’s degree in nursing from Southern Adventist University and her Physician Assistant degree from Emory University’s Physician Associate Program. She has over 20 years of medical experience, working in fields ranging from orthopedics to family medicine to internal medicine.
In her new role, Valorie will help patients manage chronic illnesses such as diabetes and heart disease. She will also provide care for acute illness and infection, and conduct annual physicals and sports medicine physicals.
