CHATTANOOGA, TN – Parkridge Valley celebrated the grand opening of its new 64-bed Adult & Senior Campus with a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 30. The event attendees included Mayor Andy Berke, State Senator Bo Watson, City Council member Russell Gilbert and Claire McVay from Sen. Bob Corker’s office, as well as representatives from the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce and numerous business and community organizations.

Beginning in mid-June, the new campus at 7351 Courage Way in East Brainerd will serve as home to behavioral health and addiction services for adults as well as Senior Life, a unit for aging patients with both psychiatric and medical needs. The adult services will officially move to the new facility from their current location at the Parkridge Valley campus on Morris Hill Road. After adult patients are transitioned to the new campus, the existing Parkridge Valley facility will be dedicated exclusively to the care of children and adolescents and will be known as Parkridge Valley Child & Adolescent Campus.

“By expanding our operations to two campuses, we are filling a significant need in our area and preparing ourselves for what the future holds in the field of mental health treatment,” notes Brennan Francois, CEO of Parkridge Valley Hospital. “Parkridge Valley continues to invest in the community and to provide the compassionate care that people need.”
