CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Parkridge Medical Center staff are establishing mini lesson plans and preparing for their roles as instructors-for-a-morning at the hospital’s March 29th Health Science Fair for business education partner Clifton Hills Elementary.

The event will be held from 9 am till noon in the Clifton Hills Elementary gymnasium. Parkridge clinical and support staff will share their expertise by presenting a variety of short lessons and hands-on demonstrations of several different health science concepts. Clifton Hills’ third, fourth and fifth graders are expected to participate in this special day of scientific exploration.

“We are pleased to help Clifton Hills Elementary students develop a genuine curiosity about the science of health,” said Darrell Moore, Parkridge Medical Center CEO. “This is a great opportunity for our employees to engage with our community and provide meaningful information to these students, perhaps sparking an interest in healthcare that could develop into a career path in the future.”

Members of the media are invited to attend this special event. For more information, please call Alison Counts, marketing communications specialist for Parkridge Health System, at (423) 495-1835.
