Parkridge Health System proudly welcomes Landon Smith as chief operating officer, co-ethics and compliance officer and chief staffing officer. A native of Dalton, Georgia, Smith will oversee all construction on the Parkridge Medical Center campus and the Parkridge North Emergency Department, as well as laboratory services, radiation therapy and rehabilitation services.
“Landon brings a wealth of expertise in operations and will be a tremendous asset to Parkridge,” said Tom Ozburn, president and CEO of Parkridge Health. “We are excited to welcome him to the Parkridge family and are confident that he will play a critical role in our continued growth and expansion.”
After graduating from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s of Science degree, Smith earned a Master of Health Services Administration from Armstrong Atlantic State University. Prior to joining Parkridge, he served as assistant administrator and co-ethics and compliance officer at North Florida Regional Medical Center, in Gainesville, Florida. Before that, he was the strategy and planning manager at Memorial Health, in Savannah, Georgia.
Smith and his wife, Morgan, recently welcomed their first daughter in October. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, boating, spending time in the outdoors, and being with friends and family.
