The leadership of Parkridge Health System is pleased to announce the appointment of new Medical Staff Officers for 2010 – 2012.

Gastroenterologist Dr. Henry Paik has been elevated to a 2-year term as Chief of Staff for Parkridge Health System. Dr. Paik is a Board Certified Gastroenterologist who has been practicing in Chattanooga since 1996. After earning his medical degree from Boston University Medical School, Dr. Paik completed a General Surgery Internship and Internal Medicine Residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, N.Y. He completed a Gastroenterology Fellowship at the University of Rochester in New York. Dr. Paik is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and American College of Gastroenterology.

Surgeon Dr. Todd Cockerham has been nominated to serve as Vice Chief for the Parkridge Medical Center campus, and OB/GYN Dr. Del Ashcraft has been chosen to serve as vice chief for Parkridge East Hospital. Psychiatrist Dr. Cassandra Simms has been elevated to serve as Vice Chief for Parkridge Valley Hospital.

Other new medical staff positions include: OB/GYN Dr. Jack Rowland, Parkridge East Hospital surgical representative; surgeon Dr. Coleman Arnold, surgical representative for Parkridge Medical Center; hospitalist Dr. Naveed Memon, Medical Representative for Parkridge East Hospital; cardiologist Dr. Selcuk Tombul, Medical Representative for Parkridge Medical Center; OB/GYN Dr. Scott Harnsberger, Obstetrical Representative for Parkridge East Hospital; psychiatrist Dr. Oliver Gregory, psychiatry representative for Parkridge Valley Hospital; and pediatrician Dr. Jacqueline Shaw, Pediatrics Representative.
