CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Parkridge East Hospital will celebrate the spring season of birth and and new beginnings with an exclusive event for moms-to-be - the annual “April Shower” on Saturday, April 13. This morning of educational classes and fun activities is designed to help expecting mothers prepare for the moment when they will meet their new babies for the first time.
The “April Shower” begins at 9 a.m. and features door prizes, vendors, an Ask-the-Doctor panel, a hospital tour and a baby shower. Participating vendors will include Babies R Us, Ellie’s Fine Lingerie, Kindermusik, Origami Owl, Ld Photography and more. As part of the event, First Things First will offer the “When Baby Makes Three” class designed to help new parents maintain a healthy relationship while adjusting to the demands of life with a new baby.
