Brian Cook, CEO of Parkridge East Hospital, announced that Ken Metteauer has joined the administrative team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Mr. Metteauer has been with Parkridge Health System since 2004, first as Controller for the Parkridge Medical Center and Parkridge Valley campuses and most recently as the system’s Assistant Vice President of Finance.

Mr. Metteauer has nearly 16 years of experience in the field of health care accounting, and began his career at Laurel Heights Hospital in Atlanta. He has been with Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) since 1997, and came to Parkridge Health System after serving as a controller for HCA facilities in both Atlanta and Nashville. Mr. Metteauer holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Mercer University in Macon, Ga. He and his wife, Darla, have two sons, Zachary, 3, and Jacob, 3 months, both of whom were born at Parkridge East Hospital.

Mr. Metteauer is expected to begin work in his new role on February 1.
