CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. —Jarrett B. Millsaps, Jr. has been named as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Parkridge East Hospital in Chattanooga. According to Darrell Moore, President and Chief Executive Officer of Parkridge Health System, Millsaps will assume his new role on April 1.

Millsaps has served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Ky., since October 2007. Before joining the staff of Greenview Regional, Millsaps served as Associate Administrator from 2004 to 2007 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Frankfort, Ky. Millsaps came to Kentucky in 2004 from Georgia, where he worked as an Associate Controller at HCA’s Coliseum Medical Centers in Macon. Prior to joining HCA, Millsaps served in the United States Navy for five years as a Surface and Special Warfare Officer.

Born in Chattanooga, Millsaps earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Naval Academy and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. He and his wife have two children.
