Dr. Sibaji Shome has been named Medical Director for the Sleep Well Center at Parkridge East. “Dr. Shome brings a wealth of experience in treating sleep disorders and caring for patients experiencing sleep difficulties,” said Mark Sims, chief executive officer at Parkridge East Hospital.

Dr. Shome received his medical degree from R. G. Kar Medical College at the University of Calcutta in West Bengal, India. He completed his residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He has completed a fellowship in Infectious Disease at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee, a fellowship in Pulmonary Disease at Oschsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana, and fellowship in Critical Care at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Shome is board certified in sleep medicine.
