CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.– Daniel Astleford, MHA, MBA, has been named Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Parkridge Medical Center.
Astleford comes to Parkridge Medical Center from Lafayette, La., where he served as Assistant Chief Operating Officer and Co-Ethics and Compliance Officer for The Regional Health System of Acadiana. In this role, he provided executive oversight of imaging services, laboratory, cardiopulmonary, environmental services, food and nutritional services, outpatient rehabilitation services and centralized scheduling. Some of Astleford’s accomplishments at The Regional Health System of Acadiana include increasing employee engagement and enhancing patient satisfaction in outpatient services.

Astleford graduated summa cum laude and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, health services administration from the University of South Dakota Beacom School of Business in Vermillion, S.D., in 2007 before earning master’s degrees in both business administration and health administration from the University of Iowa.
After joining HCA in 2010 as an administrative intern for the HCA Midwest Health System in Kansas City, Mo., he worked as an administrative resident and interim ethics and compliance officer as well as an assistant administrator for Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Overland Park, Kan. Astleford also served as vice president of operations for Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington, Mo., before moving to The Regional Health System of Acadiana.
Astleford begins his role as COO of Parkridge Medical Center on November 16th.
