Brian T. Cook has been named the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Parkridge East Hospital in Chattanooga. According to Darrell Moore, President and Chief Executive Officer of Parkridge Medical Center, Inc., Cook’s new position was effective July 1.
Cook has served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville, Tennessee, since January, 2007. Prior to that, Cook was COO at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, Tennessee. Cook came to Nashville from Florida in 2006 where he worked as an Associate Administrator at HCA’s Palms West Hospital in Loxahatchee, Florida.
Cook obtained his B. S. degree for Florida State University and his MBA from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollings College in Winter Park, Florida. He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. He and his wife, Natalie, have three children, Timothy, Emma, and Jack.
Moore says “Brian Cook will be a strong leader for Parkridge East Hospital and I am confident he will be a dynamic addition to our hospital administration team and to the Chattanooga community. I know he will bring focus to key growth and quality priorities at Parkridge East Hospital in the coming years.”
