CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Family nurse practitioner and certified diabetes educator Barbara Woody has joined endocrinologist Ana Cornea, MD on the staff of Parkridge Medical Group — Diagnostic Center.
In her new role, Woody will provide guidance and education for patients with chronic endocrine disorders such as diabetes.
"Barbara has a passion for bettering the lives of diabetic patients by educating them on how to effectively manage their condition," said Keith Underwood, regional market manager for Parkridge Medical Group. "We are excited to have her as part of the Diagnostic Center staff."
Woody earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. She is a member of the American Association of Diabetes Educators and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
