Amy Whipple, MSN, RN, NE-BC has been named associate chief nursing officer of Parkridge Valley Adult & Senior Campus.

Whipple has over 20 years of clinical and managerial experience in behavioral health services. She joins Parkridge Valley from St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Centralia, Ill., where she most recently served as the director of behavioral health services. Highlights of her 21 years at St. Mary’s include monitoring and improving patient satisfaction and safety initiatives, implementing regulatory standards, as well as assisting in implementing and updating therapy practices and programs.

Whipple earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Nursing from McKendree University in Lebanon, Ill. She is an ANCC Board Certified Nurse Executive and a member of the American Psychiatric Nurse Association.
