Services we provide
We provide intensive therapies that help restore your functionality as best as possible, including physical, occupational and speech therapy. During inpatient treatment, you work with your specialists three hours per day, five days per week, over two-to-four weeks. If improvement is slower than normal, you may end up continuing treatment for longer. You may also participate in one or more treatments designed to aid your transition home or into a long-term care facility.
Physical therapy
Your rehabilitation program may involve fitness training, working on exercise equipment and following a physical therapy regimen. Catering to your needs, a physical therapist will lead you through exercises that strengthen your extremities, increase your movement and access your need for assistive devices.
Occupational therapy
Occupational therapists use a variety of hospital resources to train you in building, relearning or adopting abilities for everyday tasks. Your therapist will work with you in home-like settings to help build or strengthen your personal care skills, such as bathing, dressing, and doing household chores. At the end of the day, our goal is to help you achieve the highest level of independence possible.
Speech therapy
While working through function and mobility therapy, your speech pathologist will use technology, visual techniques and vocal exercises to evaluate and strengthen your communication, cognition and swallowing abilities, essential skills that may affect your overall recovery.
