Chattanooga, TN — Parkridge Health System is pleased to announce that Parkridge Medical Center has been named to the 2024 Healthgrades America’s 250 Best Hospitals list for superior performance in providing care for conditions and procedures across multiple specialty lines and areas. Using a methodology focused solely on patient outcomes, this award recognizes the top 5% of hospitals in the country for clinical excellence.
Parkridge Medical Center was also named one of the 2024 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals in the US by Fortune and PINC AI. Hospitals earn this recognition by delivering better outcomes while operating more efficiently and at a lower cost.
“As we continue to grow our services to meet the needs of the Chattanooga community, these recognitions highlight our commitment to superior, high-quality patient care across our entire hospital system,” said Chris Cosby, president and chief executive officer of Parkridge Health System. “Our colleagues and physicians show up every day for our patients, and their effort is underscored in these continued recognitions.”
In addition to being named a Top 250 Hospital, Parkridge Medical Center was recognized by Healthgrades for critical care, gastrointestinal care and surgery, orthopedic surgery, spine surgery, and pulmonary and stroke care. The hospital was also honored as a Top 100 Hospital by Fortune and PINC AI in 2023.
“It is due to the efforts of our incredible teams that Parkridge Health System is set to grow across the Chattanooga area with new facilities and expansions to current facilities,” Cosby said.
