Psychiatric programs we offer
We offer specialized programs for children, adolescents, adults and seniors. Each program provides the resources to support your mental, behavioral and physical health, while offering a compassionate, safe environment.
Inpatient programs
Support for more intense mental health needs is offered for all ages through our inpatient program. Adults and seniors can find 24-hour, inpatient care at Parkridge West Hospital, while children and adolescents can receive the same care at Parkridge Valley Child & Adolescent Campus.
Outpatient programs
We offer two outpatient programs for you or your loved ones.
Our Intensive outpatient program (IOP) is designed to offer non-medical therapeutic avenue for adults to confront emotional, mental health or addictive disorders.
Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides you with treatment that is less intense than inpatient care, but offers more structure than outpatient services. Through this program, you are able to concentrate your focus on yourself, but can enjoy the stability of going home at night to your routine.
Child and teen mental health programs
Both our Acute Children's Program and our Acute Adolescent Program provide safe, age-appropriate environments to receive support. We offer therapies including:
- Activities therapy
- Behavior modification
- Family discharge planning sessions
- Group therapy
- Medication management
- Supportive medical care
Valley Academy, our accredited education program, is also offered so that our inpatient children and teens receive the structure of school without falling behind.
Adult and senior mental health programs
We service both adults with mental health needs and seniors with mental health needs through our programs. Through various therapies and coping skills provided, it is our psychiatric experts' goal that you experience a full life.
Our adults and seniors services include:
- Activities therapy
- Discharge planning

- Medication management
- Supportive medical care
Therapy for addiction disorders is also offered for both adults and seniors.
